Filofax

Filofax, originally called "File of Facts" when it was introduced in 1921 in the United Kingdom. The British army was originally the largest purchaser of Filofax, but the universities, churches, doctors, and more quickly recognized the value of having their daily affairs in their Filofaxes. In the late 1920's, the "File of Facts" name was shortened to "Filofax".

During World War II, the Filofax company was destroyed, and the current Filofax company might not have existed had it not been for an employee who maintained a copy of vital Filofax company records in her own Filofax. Today, Filofax continues its tradition of high quality, well thought out products.
